I would also like to contribute to this idea. I have to admit to being a bit of an "engineer" when it comes to my own creativity however I actually vote based on the primitive and heretical principle of whether I like the image or not. I just hit the number that matches my emotional reaction to the image within the context of the challenge. Just don't tell anyone or they'll napalm my village.
