For some reason I still have this weird clicking sound in my ear ... guess it takes a few days to go away, huh?

I did make it back to Buchanan in one piece... Thank you all for the great time. Melissa, I must admit that there were a couple of times on the drive home where things seemed to morph from the road ahead into whatever I was thinking about, BUT I pulled over, took a break, and had some more coffee, cigs, & Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I also waved at the Harrisonburg exits (and secretly envied the fact that I would be home already if I were you) as I went by. ROFL!
I got back at about 4am, so haven't had a chance to go through my shots yet. I'll post them as soon as I have rested a little more and done a little editing! =-D
PS Please forgive any faulty grammar/spelling/etc. I'm pooped and ain't as young as I used to be!!
I will have some pics to post up, BUT......can some of yoiu camera jocks that were along tell me what advantage I'll get with a D200/D2S/X over the detail the D70s gives me in a shot like this? I am just so happy with this kind of shot I find it hard to believe that this could be much improved upon. I'd love to get feedback.
Thanks DPC'ers for a good day of shooting and showing us around DC. The weather was great also!!!! My brother-in-law says thank you also, once he gets his computer running or a new one he wants to join DPC now. Here are a few of pics of mine and the rest are in my portfolio...
I'm glad you guys had a great time! I'm jealous that I couldn't affort the trip this year, but hopefully it will be an annual event and I'm planning on next year! I got some great shots from last years gtg.
Ditto -- I was already "booked" this weekend, but was bummed I couldn't make it. Next year! And I'll have a Gorillapod! :)
