I haven't seen your photo - but I am quite sure that you staged it. I think all the photos were staged in the challenge- the photographer willingly and with premeditation hit the button to take the picture.

It was called a joke - but cleary a bad one . I think we all have to give every entry the benefit of the doubt and judge by quality of image and quality of story, etc and not worry so much if we think it might be set up or staged.

It does, in my opinion. But does it look spontaneous, unplanned, or unrehearsed? That's the key. Perception is reality.
Now, the rest of this is not directed at Jewelly specifically, but to everyone who is bitching and moaning and arguing over this crap:
I haven't seen this much angst over a challenge topic since the uber-lame "snow isn't ice" debate last year. Get over it! All this self-righteous indignance and finger wagging and whatnot is making you ALL look like spoiled brats. If the voters don't understand your masterpiece or how your photo of an abandoned shoe dressed up like the Easter bunny and propped up under studio lights could possibly be classified as a candid, then you simply failed to convey candidness, PERIOD. EverythingYOU know about your photo is IRRELEVANT. PERCEPTION IS REALITY.
I resent being told how to vote, your assumption that my interpretation ("my" meaning "everyone to whom you direct your generic rants") is wrong, being "challenged" to vote differently when "challenged" is really code for "...and we look down our high and mighty noses at anyone who won't" and amounts to a soft form of bullying. Don't know if you're responding to me. My point is, just because you haven't seen something in your town doesn't mean it's not happening all the time somewhere else nor does it mean if you are looking at a picture of it that it was a fake/setup/staged shot.

Yes of course I entered, I see my pic in the top left corner but no info at the bottom of the pic. When I click it, it shows 3 comments but no votes or views.
I have'nt been on this site for a few months. Did something change? Are there new rules?
