For anyone who didn't see it in the other thread, banmorn has offered to match karmat's donation. That means $4 toward a cure for MS for every day the Critique Club queue reaches (or stays at) zero! If we can get there today, that guarantees $8 before the next rollover!
It is not automatic, and I usually forget to do it. :/
And yes, to answer an earlier question, the queue has been to zero before. It could easily get there today, then at rollover, more images will be put in. If we work like mad, we could have it at 0 again before Tuesdays rollover.

Don't forget that Free Study rolls over on Monday night.
I'd love to see us clear a Free Study queue. That would be damned impressive.
I had originally not had my Freestudy checked to be critiqued, but since this is going on I thought I'd throw it in there. I pity the foo who gets it!
Oh, sure... make our job harder! ;-)
Looking at your comment history, it appears you've written some pretty insightful comments. Why not join the club and lend us a hand?

Actually I'd love to maybe after this summer when I've got more practice under my belt. I think people expect more technical know-how from the Critique Club.
I don't know that we're supposed to, but I do it just to let the person know they have a new comment. It's a bit frustrating if it just sits there unnoticed. That said, some of the folks who've asked for critiques don't generally mark comments as helpful, so you'll never know if they've seen it or not.
The thing I keep forgetting to do is start off the comment by noting it's a Critique Club comment....
Oh, and I've done 8 now! 26 remain in the queue...
I have broken my rule about commenting and done a couple of CC's. I like doing them and hope those I did will be pleased with my comments. I will await any replies before committing to more.

Steve,
Very nicely done critiques. You should write them more often. I'd be very happy to get critiques of that quality on my photographs.
W00t! We did it! Looks like we've cleared the queue with a day to spare... don't forget to check back after Sunday night rollover, we'll have plenty more to tackle then...
In the meantime, don't forget that you can win a free membership for writing great comments. Go ahead and comment away on the photographs of your choice between now and Monday. I'm sure the comment recipients will appreciate it, and I've also pledged a donation for to the National MS Society for every comment made between now and June 3 -- so it's for a great cause!
