Yeah, it would be good to have an exact spot as the meeting place :) Wherever we're having the picnic would seem like a logical spot. Could you give us more directions to the spot you were mentioning, Brandi? Or had someone else decided something different?
BTW, I'm going to head up that way on Saturday so I can avoid getting up before 5:00 a.m. to make it there in time... in case anyone is interested in a mini GTG that night! Speaking of which, if anyone has a suggestion for reasonable lodging in that area, that would also be handy. :)
I think the parking lot would be the easiest place to meet up, there's a parking lot on each side of the road, one is long & runs parallel to the road . I think it had been mentioned to park in the Evergreen Parking lot at one point, the long parking lot where the grills are is the one directly across the road from that, it's labeled "Trailhead Parking".... (did that make any sense or is everybody more confused than before?).
And are we doing an early lunch when everybody gets there or taking a few pics (Adams Falls is right along the road) & then doing lunch?

Hmm, as the Falls Trail is now open and the bar-b-q's are in the "Trailhead Parking". That might be a better location. But both are across the street from each other. Is it possible to see both parking lots. (Perhaps I will print out DPC ribbons and post them where they can be seen?)
As for food. I'd say eat a breakfast first and we'll go for a lunch around noon to 1pm. I'd think this would let us do one trail section first. Work up a small appetite. Then go for another round.
Ooh, I'm jealous! I have camped and hiked the falls trail at Ricketts Glen (and World's End as well) more times than I can begin to count but not for a few years now. Have a great time. :)
