That's fine and yes, that's what it is for but I like my photos to actually present what is there.
I haven't been this disapointed in a score since my first challenge (40 entries ago).
12 votes - 5.4167 ave. I know everyone thinks their photos are worth more but I reckon this is one of the best photos I've submitted yet. come on people, take your sunglasses off when voting!!!

:( The last 3 vote knocked me below 7. I shall return though. Of course a low 7 is not going to compete in this one. You are going to need a 7.5 likely and I also predict 4th place will be bummed out because their score will look like a ribbon score.
Jutilda liked it, so I'm pleased. Vote is slightly higher than I predicted so far (I predicted a 5.42) but there's plenty of time for it to keep falling.

I'm getting slammed by 1's and 2's. Give me a break -- I'm willing to agree the pic could have been executed better, but it's not like it's a poorly lit, out-of-focus kid with a chocolate smeared face taken with my cell phone!

My score sure isn't happy... I guess had overly high expectations of my sharp, colorful, and well composed image of an ordinary place. Oh, to have a dramatic vista!!!
