Not to hijack this thread too far off, but when the weather stablizies we might consider doing some sort of Ohio DPC GTG. There seem to be enoug of us within an hour or two. Lets just get through this snow first (trying to keep on subject) ;)

I got a bunch of friends that live down in Columbus so I'm game!!
Yep parts of the UP got hammered. Painesdale(in the Keweenaw) had 38 inches on the level. Our house which is 6 miles from Painesdale, but sits in the middle of a big field has any thing from bare ground to 4 foot snow drifts. But the sun is shining now, but cold and windy.
right now its a warm and toasty 28F/-3C ... and looks like a blizzard outside...just outside of Flint, MI ::sigh:: Then again i have to be greatful that it's not 95F/35C outside right now!!
Even here in Texas we are expecting a cold weekend with even a chance of snow in the Hill Country. Woo Hooooo! Like Karen only gets 2 weeks of summer, we usually only get about 2 weeks of winter. So every time it gets cold here, most people think its the coolest thing ever!
But today I was out taking pictures in shorts. It's goregous and hard to believe the weather is going to change that drastically. But having lived in Texas forever. . .I know it's certainly possible!
got to love that late (or maybe REALLY early) snowfall. My family in KY said it snowed today (friday) and there were highways closed down cause of the ice. Crazy. Back in 90 I remember it snowing in colorado in July. Man I miss Colorado weather lol.
It was even snowing here in North Carolina earlier tonight, I thought I was hallucinating, came in and checked the weather and saw that it was snowing all over NC. Low is 29 for the night, below freezing.. and its Easter!! Insane!
I'm in KY and it snowed here today .. unheard of! Nothing stuck, no road closings but it snowed! The new leaves coming out are all curled up against the cold (low 20's) temps tonight. We were 84 degrees just a couple of days ago!
Yes this is really annoying!! I'm getting married on Saturday and 'original' plan was an outside ceremony near a waterfall a 1/2 mile from my house.... But with 1-2' snow planned Friday and Sat....on to back-up plan..
AARRGGHH!
