Hehehehe since I started the thread the other night figured I start this one too...
My honest opinion of how I will do I will be happy if I have at least a 4.5, I just expect a low score on this entry although I could be surprised...lol yeah it could go lower...
So who is going to be the first person to post a score in the Night on the Town Challenge?
Wow! I'm starting out with a pretty low score already. I really liked mine this time, and spent alot of time and effort on it. Kind of depressing, hope it goes up. :)
Warning! do not rush home, Try to download 25 NEF files with 15 min. to go...Pick the worst one and toss it online with only ten seconds...I should not have! I deserve what I am getting and if someone would please figure out which one is mine and then challenge it...maybe I'll get lucky and it will just go away with all the "What were you thinking?" comments. LOL
Well, I'm glad to know I am not going to break my average too badly, I will continue to do poorly, looks like.
That would bother me less if I had even one comment, though I have my suspicions of at least one cause of the low scores. Hopefully by the time this closes, I will either have a better score, or some comments. (Both would be nice. But I suspect the comments are the more realistic hope....)
I have already screened 47 pics (taking a break right now), and commented on 18 of them - usually, I just comment on images that are more than Ok (which, to me, is at least a 7). The lowest I have given so far is a 4. Am I being too lenient, or is the quality of entries in this batch particularly compelling? There is so much talent in here that viewing the pictures on the site (including outside challenges) has become sort of an "addiction" for me.
Yeah.. I ended up giving like 50 2s (for the ones not fitting the challenge), a bunch of 5s (for the ones that did but were shite), some sevens and an eight.
This is actually pretty sad. C'mon,. DPC! you can do better than this!
