I decided to stay well away from this one too. There is a huge difference of perception between different parts of the worlds and since most of this originated in Asia, the western knowledge is limited merely to 3-4 forms. Seeing the entries illustrates this point very well

Well if it's any consolation mine is probably one of those 3-4 forms and about every other vote slams it. Luckly so far the ones that are not doing that have been scoring it highly.

I might as well say what my photo was (I put a lot of work into it) I made a photo of a table all set up for a nice cup of tea. biscuits, fancy teacup, silver milkjar etc. and made a tealabel with a marihuana leaf on it. took the photo whilst dropping a cube of sugar in it for a nice splash. and yes, there was a tiny bit of weed on the side of the cup.
I wrote to the SC because when I flipped through the thumbs I saw several photo's with weed in it. So why the hell are those allowed, and not mine?? Yea and then they say, I have to click the violate rules button. Well I'm not gonna do that! But I do think it's very unfair.

Who said those entries were allowed? First of all, no one has flagged the entries for review. Second of all, it's less than six hours into the challenge. Even if they WERE submitted for review, the review process takes time -- 48 hours is not unusual.
In addition, let's please not discuss entries publicly while voting is in progress. If you would like to discuss this further off-board, feel free to reply to the email we sent you.

I actually expected one of my highest scores and I am not doing well at all.
I can certainly empathize. I was really excited about my photo (still am); however, the voters seem to disagree - or rather the scores I'm receiving seem to indicate they disagree. There are NO comments so far...

same here. usually I think my shots arent very good and expect a low score. this time I was sooo sure I had a top ten shot that I couldnt even sleep. I'm barely in the 6's.
I was really expecting much higher for this. This photo is much better than my entry for furniture which is pretty boring honestly and is at 5.3866. I think the scores are attached to the wrong photo :)
I can't believe 2 of the commentators don't get it, really shocking to me that this form of alternative medicine isn't universally known and acceptable even in the medical community.
