That's discouraging -- maybe we'll have to make an announcement that you shouldn't check the "Critique" box unless you're at least prepared to acknowledge its receipt. Personally, I usually send a PM back to let the reviewer know I've gotten their message.

I know the feeling, I still have a few from the last go around from this thread that I'm not even sure have been read. Even though I do send a PM with each one. One person was nice enough to acknowledge that she read it and even gave me some reasoning for the comments I made on the photo. But still failed to mark it helpful. Oh well I'll do some more tonight after working both jobs. Seems thankless sometimes but I guess its worth the effort for those that you do help.

Try asking them to mark it helpful. The PM I send is below. Sicne I started using this, nNearly every critique I write gets marked helpful. The ones that don't are almost always people that don't mark ANY comments helpful:
I am writing to let you know the critique you requested on "_________________" is complete. You can view it by going to the comments area on the page for that photograph.
If you find this critique helpful, please consider marking the "this comment is helpful" checkbox.
Nice work. everyone! It looks like we got down around 90 before rollover!
Of course, with last night's rollover, we have a total of 197... can we clear that in a day? It'd be a stretch, but I vote we try :)
