I hope that makes sense ... I have been living here for like 7 years after marrying a woman that I met on a game on the internet 9+ years ago ... but it is SO hard to learn Dutch as my wife AND her parents AND her sisters are SO fluent in English ... I seem to manage in the shops though but probably only because almost all people here understand English or at least French if I stumble on a word ...
I should probably put this story in my bio if I ever can take a break from taking and processing and uploading and entering and commenting and scoring photos ...

I didn't enter as I wasn't able to capture the human/urban setting feel right. I think too many of the entries are missing the boat completely. But then there are others that are FABULOUS. Good luck everyone.

You do not have to have a human in the photo for it to be street photography. Your picture should convey a feeling. It does not have to be a portrait of someone on the street. Just my opinion for what it is worth.
I'm not sure if anyone knows about this but if you're in or around NYC before the end of April, check out the museum at International Center of Photography. A couple of the current exhibitions are "Henri Cartier-Bresson's Scrapbook: Photographs, 1932-46", and "Martin Munkacsi: Think While You Shoot!"
I took the train into the city yesterday to take some photos and started off the day with a visit to the museum. Very interesting and some great work to see! I just thought I would spread the word around. Enjoy! Good Luck to everyone who participated in the challenge!

still better than my current highest scoring photos, but i really want it to get above 6! it was so close last night, 5.98xx for the longest time then it went down a bit :(
