I am heading out today for some street photography wish me luck as the last few days have been terrible with no people around.
I have an idea for hate and am going to try to get that one done as well in the next couple of days.

Im sooo going to cry if sc dq for music >.< cos its my new PB and if it gets that last bump at roll over it'll be a new PB for my camera and lens >.<

As for myself, I'm standing at 5.4 in Fruits and vegetables. I have nothing in School days and in Street photo, but I did enter one in Love... and I love it, hopefully everybody will also. :)

With your 6.6 and the score that Amy is having in Music, we will be in a good position for the second week.
if you have an issue with SC, or your dq, your best course of action would be to open a ticket to discuss it rationally. barring that, i will simply point out that we do not simply dq for the heck of it, there are reason, so I dare say we did not "steal" your 6.9.

Insulting the SC is not going to get you anywhere.
Like Karma said, we don't DQ without a reason, and the reason was put down in the DQ details, which you can see. If you believe we are mistaken and you in fact did not break any rules, an explaination or whatever can be sent to us via the ticket system and we'll do our best to look into it further. We have un-DQd people in the past if we realise we have made a mistake. However, you're really not doing yourself any favours at the moment. We've never un-DQd anyone for them mouthing off at us.

There were some discrepancies between your original file and your submitted version which we believe, after extensive testing, cannot be resolved within the Basic Editing rules. If you believe you can show us how you created your entry within the Basic Editing rules, then I encourage you to open a ticket, so we can work together in a constructive and mutually respectful manner to resolve the issue. If you can show us that our analysis is in error, then yes, we will reinstate your entry and its score. I would suggest, however, that hurling repeated insults at the people who are in the best position to help you is not beneficial to your cause.
If your entry did, in fact, violate the Basic Editing rules, then you are correct -- opening a ticket will not get your score back, so there would be no point. If this is the case, I suggest taking responsibility for your own oversight, rather than blaming the Site Council for doing our jobs.

i have got my 'street' and 'love' in today, and i have got high hopes.
also took a shot for 'tree' but i will look for a tree with leaves on (its still winter here) and try again before thursday.

If you did nothing wrong just walk the site council through it again, I am sure they will see it. I know that sometimes it is difficult to tell people what you have done when you have put alot of work into it but if its legal I am sure you can communicate that with them. I understand getting angry, especially with a personal best but with your talent I know there will be more to come. So lets go forward with street love and hate. Good luck to everyone!
My score in fruits and vegtables has dropped just a touch below 6.6 this morning but I am hoping it makes it back over by tonight.
I have my street in and I like it but as usual I have know idea how it will be recieved until the votes start rolling in. At this point I only know the most important thing to me is that I am pleased and it looks how I wanted it to look.

Soo Im banned for a week because its only been 18 instead of 25 maybe thats a good thing this week challenges arent very good
I do believe I entered the wrong pic i had several edits of it possibly thinking of apoligizing but Im a very stubborn person so that might take awhile
