I devised a new voting scheme especially for the self-portraits. Here it is:
-All women get a 1
-All men get a 5
-Cute men will get an 8 with a comment requesting to PM me their phone number. If they do, and the phone # turns out to be legit, i up them to a 10.
In my comments i throw in the obligatory hogwash about composition, lighting and colors, to make it sound like my appraisal and scoring is strictly according to photographic criteria.

Fiver and mattbetea, don't worry; i'm just now getting into the swing of voting. Am having my little shot of Kahlua to get me all mellowed out and ready for this big task. Matt, if you don't want my 8/10, that's fine with me. I would never give you a 10 without your consent :)
No mavrik, you have it all wrong. Am not wasting time writing comments to guys who are only a 5. You have to rate an 8 to get my attention. Heck, for under 8 there are plenty of guys here in town without having to type them comments.
In my previous post though i indicated i'm just getting heavy-duty into voting and it's slow going because some pics look familiar so you have to rifle through profiles.
I am wondering does everyone recognize my little boy too when they see him now? He has appeared here so many times!

Got the same problem with a certain red-head in my family, with 2 photogs she's a bit "over-exposed". : )
I know both kids in question. lol (Marianne thinks I have a crush on Lottie, which I swear is .. true!)
Well my over exposed little boy is 6 and wants to know if the certain redhead wants to go to McDonalds for lunch....lol he says he can afford it on his allowance.
