i went from 110 to 89 comments received in the last few minutes... that means that 21 are missing. however, i have 21 comments listed for my "12 days" entry, so maybe they are only counting the ones that are openly visible to everyone. granted, they haven't decremented (?) me the 3 comments that i have for my "fences" entry (unless the 110 already took that into account)...
Yup, this is what is happening in my opinion as well. But i also miss the comments made on the challenge entry
Trolls, it's trolls!
They hide behind the monitor screen and eat comments for snacks, then pass out low ratings in the challenges later. It works like feeding a horse good hay.
I see that comments made on our images are now divided into two groups, those marked helpful, and those not marked helpful. I noticed that I had 3 that had not been marked helpful, so went back thru and marked them.
When I went back to profile view, I then was showing 6 not marked helpful.
Maybe this observation will be "helpful." : )
Do you think that this could be a result of folks submitting portfolio photograghs for the 'Best of 2006' challenge?
I thought of that, but it's a LOT of comments and seemed to happen all at the same time to everybody.
And you wouldnt think that my number of comments recieved would be affected by someone hiding their own images. I didnt hide any of mine so i shouldnt have lost any comments there. Comments given sure - but not recieved.
