i'm in 5.5 range once again.

i got a comment about how my photo didn't pertain to death. . .just because i didn't put "death" or "dead" or "my photo is about dead things" in the title?

does everything have to be on-the-nose?

I was voting and as I am having a bad stomach day I had to stop, or all the dead critters and *something* with ketchup pictures will make me feel worst and will result on a bad score from my part... So.. I`ll wait to tomorrow to finish voting and then I`ll comment :D

In ascending order the digits are

.00068

I leave it as an exercise to the student to determine the true score.*

It's either a 6.8 or an 8.6 and you shouldn't be moanin' or groanin' about either one of those.

is this a low scoring challenge or what?

I think people who dislike pics with death in it are voting..

I just can't believe how (great!) photographers in this thread are showing a lot of low scores here.

I don't know, I've just looked at the thumbnails and I don't want to look at the full sizes:(
maybe it's hiding from reality but I don't want to see it.
I think I expected more symbolic and allegoric views on death, not the real photos. sorry for that!

edited to add: I can see there are many really great photos there, excellent technically, but I just can't accept the subject...sorry again

Same here. At 5.98 now but I fear it's on a sure and steady decline. Oh well...

I agree with you. Very sad photos among the great ones. I didn't expect so many dead things. Yeah, yeah, I know it's "death" and it's not pretty, but damn I am surprised by some of the photos.

It looks like a better photo for this challenge would have been a screen shot of my current score. And I thought it was actually a good photo. Man....looks like my average is goind down further.

Nadia - based on the comments I have received, it seems to me that in order to "meet this challenge", death only happens to organic items.

Kudos to those of you who went and thought outside the box on this one.
