I had prolly 30 people in line this morning, 2 people got lucky, (yup-- we only got shipped 2)--
Both people did buy the extra remote and a game One Zelda, the other Rayman--
The Wii will be very hard to get B4 Xmas, even though they had alot more shipped to stores than ps3..
I picked up mine this morning! I'm pretty floored by all the nice little touches they put into the Wii interface. I didn't get any games, just been playing the Sports game that was include, which is great. I also bought the original Zelda for NES off the Shop channel.

I should know this since I sell em' but I didn't open the box ")-- is the Sports pack built into the hardware, or is it a separate disc, and btw, hows the Bowling? That looked fun as hell.

Wii Sports is a disc included with all the manuals is a cardboard case. Bowling is my favorite. :) I can't wait until games are online enabled.
I cant believe you all would spend this money on these games, where is the love for some amazing GLASS? I can assure you if I had some extra $$$ for something I'd find a nice piece of glass to put in my camera bag!

Tell me about it.. if Best Buy carried the K10D.. or pentax lenses.. I know what that $150 would go to..
but they don't. They have boners for the A100D.. (which, btw, is in for servicing more often than I care to count. I should know, I audit service claims.)
K10D is out in some stores yesterday. More stock on Monday and Tuesday.
we bought a Wii console yesterday - what a blast - playing golf is amazing. it's cool that they allow the game cube pads and games to play in it as well.

Congrats dude that great! So did you have to camp out? And what store did you get it at? I camped out at a target but they didnt have any and neither did best buy in my area
I stopped playing console games after the first playstation came out. Nowadways I hardly play anything but if I do it's on my computer. Unless you have an old computer why go the console route? Btw, I tend to prefer games like Civilization IV so I might be bias. However, I also like playing the occassional WWII based FPS game like Call of Duty, Day of Defeat, etc. I would play sports games but then all of my free time will be gone.
I just played the Wii for the first time last night at a friend's place and I think it's pretty safe to say that I'm going to get one... But not before I get an Xbox 360... Has anyone seen Gears of War on the 360? It looks absolutely amazing, the best console graphics I've ever seen...drool... And Halo 3 is supposed to look even better. Too bad I just spent all my money on a camera, haha.
no camping but we got one of the last two left at Toys'R'Us - then had to go to four other places to find games and controllers. was an adventure.
we got the new Zelda, Excite Truck, Trauma Center. the truck game is pretty fun.

curious about how the internet works with it. i bought a USB access point and am currently downloading the updates for the Wii. but the wireless connection says it is running with limited connectivety. would that be caused by only having a USB 1.0 port to connect the accesspoint?
it's working but i am curious if it should be faster. comcast cable connection - which is quite fast generally.
i had to go outside last night to cool off after boxing for 30min.

I can't find another wiimote anywhere... and I have yet to set up wireless networking at home.. a project that *MUST* be done now... we'll see about it next payday.
As for addicting.. yeah.. I wasn't expecting that at all.
Becky-Lee is pure evil. She and her b/f camped out at Futureshop to get him a wii for Xmas but she won't let him open it until then.
Can you imagine many worse tortures? :)
