I just told my wife to come home from work. There is a bit too much of the white stuff for her to try and drive home in it. Castle Rock always gets more than the front range. Higher elevation and the palmer divide = snow!
I heard I-25 is closed north of Springs to the Rock. We still are just getting rain here, no white stuff yet. Winds aren't even that bad. So, may not get any wind shots unless something changes. I reminds me of a winter day in Eugene.

Yes thats true... Were I am they have us in the up 20" of snow...eeek!!! I will have a heck of a time getting shots. Snow shoes needed.
Well I just got in from trying to shovel. I have well over a foot now, and some 3' drifts in my driveway. That snow is stinkin heavy. I got the drive done and gave up. I have 150' of sidewalk on the side of my house that will just have to wait until morning.
OOOOOOPSSSS!!!! Maybe not! :) Love that the lawmakers PRE-took the day off for snow (when a flake had not even hit the ground), the airlines cancelled flights (not many happy travelers though).
Better safe than sorry, but alot of it is just funny.
