I am in Bruxelles for 1h30 en route to Amsterdam at Bruxelles Midi train station. Not long enough for a mini GTG I think, sadly.

Set your alarm clock really early, drive to the nearest airport and book a cheap last minute early flight. We'll be expecting you. ;)
Seriously now, also check the forums for "Europe GTG II / Europe GTG 2". Easier to plan because it is in late june 2007 and it is going to be tha bomb.
We should be there about midday tomorrow if there are no traffic jams on the way.
We are bringing a model along with us so we don't always have to shoot pancake shops and grachten :)

Why not, Central Station is not that bad. If you are worried for travel, put the camera in a normal bag instead of a Lowepro (or simular). I traveled in the St. Peterburg metro with my gear, all the others of my group were pickpocketed, except me with my old Eastpak and not so flashy clothes. :)
