I'm finding this quite difficult - more about limitations in my lighting than my camera actually, though I need to do something about both. The only one I really like so far is Day 3.
This is my 5 day. I reversed a lens today, shot the 580 on full power, I have 2 today, one cause I love the angle, the other cause I like the shadows that play into it. Here they are.

To my Macro is about getting close, and make it pretty if its convienent. We each have our own take on this. Lets just enjoy the creativity.
The cheap and easy way is to take your lens off your cam. Turn it around and hold it against "the hole" where your lens would attach. Look through the camera and focus by moving your camera towards and away from your subject.
You will lose all control with metering so you will have to take a shot then adjust your settings and reshoot again.
There are some cheap "reversing rings" you could buy to hold your lens in place for you.

The best way to reverse a lens and keep apeture in your control is to buy a reverse ring. It will hook the lens mounted to your camera to another lens turned backwards to it. Its best to use a macro lens on the camera, or a telephoto and then use a fast IE f1.8 lens turned around on it. You can buy these for about 10 dollars online. I just got mine today, however I just also sold my 50f1.8, so I'll have to order a different size now. :-)
