Day one of picking up 20D in 2 months, I think. I'm actually quite excited about this. I'm all settled in my new house, so I should be good to go. Good luck folks.
Edit: And we're off!!!
Just in case you missed Jackos first entry its here-- he decided not to post in his portfolio!! :)
Awesome shots in here!! I feel challenged when I think I'll just shoot "something" to do a bit more than that.
Tonight, I shot with my 50 reversed. It fit inside my kit lens, but I had to hand hold it. Kinda a pain, but we'll see what happened. I'm dumping and gettng ready to process now. edit -- I fully recognize the lack of good focus on this. Needed another hand to do it well.
to answer ursula's question from the comments, this shot was taken just before 6pm as i was getting home from work...
Thank you! It looks great with the evening light, brings out all the warm tones.
thanks... glad you liked it...
on a side note to everyone participating... it would be really great if you would do your best to post your camera settings with these shots.
it's always nice to know, not only the lens, but what f/stop and shutter you used to achieve the shot, maybe if a close up filter was attatched or if another lens was reverse mounted, what was it?...
i promise to do my best to fill in any such details on my own shots...
I think this could be many things as my mind boggles, but I think it is a electric cord/plug.....
