I am in, but can I use some of the images I have been saving for this one, as I only have a pet bird, but I have adopted quite a few of the neighbours pets..... and even babysit them, on many occasions.

You can use any of your pets you want :-)
A blog is short for web log... an online journal. There are a few you can use. A lot of people use blogspot.com. If you have any problem with it, feel free to use your portfolio here.

Not a contest so much as a reason to shoot for 30 Days. The way it is done is that you shoot one photo a day and post it for us to see and comment on. It's mostly a learning experience for all involved and an exercize in creativity.
So, below is some code for blogspot sidebars, showing all the people who are putting themselves through this. so far.
it's pretty easy to put in - it must be, if i can do it.
go to the 'template' page on your blogger control panel. look until you find the 'sidebar content' area of the code (it's near the bottom).
try to figure out the pattern (it's not hard).
stick this in where you want it.
when people post their 30 day challenge sites, stick thembetween the quotes (see Raish, Xianart and SueMack.
woohoo! then we can all reference each other.
now does anyone know how to get these things opening in a different page?
this may work for other than blogspot - i have absolutely no idea. i can't code - someone did this for the 30 day self portrait -i just copied and pasted...
i've started a blogspot blog, as i don't want to use up my folio space. that way you can link to the photo here, people can easily leave comments there, and your folio isn't filled up with, well, let's face it, not all your pics inthis are gonna be great. with the first one i did, maybe 5 out of 30 were ones i'd want to have on this site...;-)
