guys and girls...what have you done? I did not nter this challenge but just finished voting and commenting...possibly some of the lowest quality shots in a challenge since I started voting...many shots were undersized, many were very average in focus...I was quite disappointed overall

I just finished voting and I have to agree with you. I think this will drag down my average vote given. I was very disappointed (I didn't enter this one either).

I'll third this comment. I'm not in this one, just went through the thumbs and a handful of images. Seems as though people got caught up in ideas and forgot about quality of the photo. Good luck to all none-the-less.
I have entered, but I agree. I've not seen a lot of photos that come up to the usual expert standard here. There's quite a few that are more snapshot than I've become accostomed to.
Sadly mine has now hit 5.2, so I'm beginning to doubt that people are appreciating what I've done.

must be why my fairly average shot is sporting a score of 6.9286...

I haven't looked at the others yet but I know mine isn't great but is gettign a 5.6. for me I entered it because i put alot of work into it but couldn't get it right. by the end i didn't feel like doing anything else so i just entered this one.
I had plans yesterday where I had planned to take my picture, but it poured down rain all day. I entered because I haven't entered anything except the FreeStudy for a while and was bored. I knew my image sucked, but...
Well, kudzu is beating me, but not by a ton. I wanted to take a moment to thank hotpasta and Lorenza F for being the first to point out two (compositional) "rules" I broke in my picture. ;) Yes, I was aware. Yes, I knew somebody would point them out. But I can explain why I did it later...
I can not wait to see the voting break down on this one.
I am getting motion sickness watching my score go up and down.
4.5 now hopefully it wont go any lower than that again. although My photo is not that great. It looked good on the computer I used to edit and submit it. But when I looked at it with one of my other monitors it looks really flat and distorted in spots.
I had submitted a different photo and scrapped it at the last minute. prob will regret that, waiting for the outtake thread to see what everyone else thinks.
