The voting is fast because there aren't so many entries that people didn't need to wait until morning to get through them all.

Seriously, I glanced through the thumbnails at rollover, saw what I was up against, and I honestly thought "Wow, I think I may have a shot at a ribbon with this one..." And then the scores started rolling in and it was quite a shock. Now I'm generally pretty good at predicting my scores, and on my scale this would have been an 8 for this particular challenge. So WTF people???
I think they are Rami...maybe a 6.5XXX will win...
I think given the subject matter, a WOW factor is rather hard with this challenge (except one superb shot IMHO). WOO - I've gone up to almost 5.9. Got two comments - thanks hotpasta, for yours!!!
I had a feeling this would happen. Late in the evening in the last hours before the challenge, getting a color and effect that has been shot to pieces earlier this year. Should have known better. And it is also a score where you don't get a lot of comments, not that it is worth any btw.
But I have some time off and want to enter, but the challenges don't suit me at all. I might enter te camera selfportrait stuff but I am not going to make a mr potato of my camera.

I was really disappointed with my score untill I looked at the rest of the scores. I really thought this was my best effort so far and then looked at the score last night and this morning.
Last night 7 votes 5.0, 8 votes 5.6, 12 votes 5.08!

i've come down 2 tenths of a point in the last couple hours, but that's ok. I didnt do this one for score I did it for laughs and hopefully good comments.
but i'm glad not to be in the 4's YET at least seeing the scores in this thread are so low.
