I would like to take a trip back to the beginnings of the factory era. I love factories, but the thing that is missing in the images of today is the clothes, the cars or horse and carraiges, the extreme exhaust from coal, the creating and building of factories.
The next town over still has many of the old factories, but it is missing the wonderful entertainment which was also built around factory towns. We had an ornate opera house which is now gone, and some live theaters. also many of the Victorian houses built have been replaced by more modern homes.
I'd like to have a TimeRailPass that allowed me unlimited commuting in the various epochs of the dinosaurs, myself. And yes, I'm fascinated by Juassic Park...

My question is, since we both mentioned dinosaurs, does the "Wilderness" rule apply for dinosaurs;
"You don't have to outrun the animal, just the person with you"
Gotta start with the Big Bang, then fast forward to the first distant human ancestor that crawled out of the ooze. Then some shots of Antarctica before it froze, and a short tour of ancient advanced civilizations before the Europeans arrived and sent them all to hell in a handbasket.
Oo maybe I'd go see the aliens that helped form our early ancient civilizations too!
I would love to document all the lives that were involved in "The trail of tears" and the conditions they had to suffer daily. not to mention i would love to get a shot of me and my great great....grandfather chief sitting bull.
Boy...there are just so many places I would like to go and see and take photos. Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome...England and Scotland in the Dark Ages, the old American West, the Incan and Mayan empires before the Spanish arrived...it would be too hard to pick just one place.
Around 1660, Holland. To learn light and composition from Vermeer , Pieter de Hooch and Rembrandt, to learn to portray the joy of life from Jan Steen, etc, etc. The Golden Age of Dutch painting.
