I think every photo should attempt for drama in the lighting and presentation - nothing to do with studio lights or PP art. This, imo, is a very good comment.
I would take it for what it is, a positive attempt at helping.
Well finally plucked up the courage to enter a challenge (actually, 2 in one week!!). Am already addicted to the update button but I think its all part of the fun :)

Man, its been a weird day - I woke to a 7.0, stayed at high six till the last couple of hours, now at a 6.3, I hope people feel better after watching the fireworks, at least the U.S. folks, dont know what to say about the rest of the grumpy people...hee.

Mine did the big drop, as well. Was at 6.8x this morning. Now 6.2x and drops each time I check. So I turned off the scores.
What amazes me is no woodies, rubber duckies or ladybugs! I thought we might get some pretty strange shots in this one....
what? no rubber duckies? challenge should stop right now, and we all should re-enter and make sure one of us has a duck or some sort... (and me a better photo hehehehe) cough cough.. were was I... oh yeah, start all over ... yeap ;)
I didn't think mine would go down too well.... but didn't think this badly. Maybe I should have submitted the "nicer" macro shot I had instead and maybe got a 5.5..... I wanted to enter something a bit "different". Wish more comments had been left. Why don't people like it? Lowest score yet for me :(

I shouldn't have entered this one. I came in thinking I had an awesome photo, and I was proved very very wrong. *shrugs* Being different isn't doing so well.
I was up to 5.94, now it's dropped to 5.80. It seems we have the tough voters this afternoon, since it looks like others are experiencing drops as well.
I just have the same "good job" baghead comment that everyone else got, don't feel bad. Commenting always suffers when there are a lot of entries. We have almost 700 images between Flowers and SftC, so people are a bit overwhelmed with the voting.
I submitted a shot, forgot about it with all the hospital trips the last week and was surprised to see it there this morning. So...woke up to a 6.45 after like 30 or so votes and after todays voting at 5.66 after 80 some odd votes...oh well.
Correction: Now at 5.65 after 85 votes...damn! At least it has 3 comments I like.
Talking about talented people in one place. I just finished voting (not many comments, only to those I like so much) and I must say, there are stunning photos there... Very nice job... and not boring at all with all that unique ideas :)

Shoot, I had you as one of the top guys in the challenge and now you are disappointing me. With the strong field of women photographers here I thought it would be neat if the guys took most of the top ten slots. :P
