This challenge looks so old school it's refreshing. No hyper-sharpened, super saturated, color-shifted multi phased odes to modern photoshop....just honest displays of composition.
My score is actually ....wow..can't believe I'm going to say this....but my score is actually going up. Already at a personal best..and it's still on the rise. I might even break the 6 mark at this rate.
(you have to like how I'm complaining in one forum and excited in another....maybe i shouldn't enter too challenges at once anymore. This whole personal best and personal worst in the same days is killing me.)
Just a reminder that people should vote as if every photo is legal. If you believe it is not, vote as if it was and request validation.
It would be great to send out this reminder at least once a day. I have three comments, two saying the picture looks too good not to have been edited. I promise I'll try to take crappier pictures in the future! :-)

Totally agree! I'm loving the pics in this challenge! You can tell who took some time thinking about the subject, camera settings, composition, effects, etc. No more saving in Photoshop. This is a fun challenge!

they should scrap the whole bag thing...being anonymous is cowardly in most cases.
Wrong hotpasta, the anonymous commenters are not cowardly. They are the more honest among us. The people who complain about them are the real cowards because they can't accept honest criticism. If anything, the site should be changed so that all commenters are anonymous until voting is over.

Harvey, you are right that most of the time bagged comments are more honest and are made without fear of reprocussion. I think those who have gotten to know me over the last ... uhmmmm.... zillion years (seems that long) will know that I don't "bitch" about stuff, any complaint from me is meant tongue-in-cheek as a bit of humor to diffuse my frustration. The baggie is probably right about my image, the score is in the "boring" range. I would certainly never reply back to anyone complaining about their opinion - it is afterall THEIR opinion.
