thanks... i don't have any music for sale, but you're free to download those to you ipod... other than that, the only way to hear me play/sing is go come down and join us for church one sunday morning... ;)
currently, i'm spending all my money on the upstairs bonus room to turn it into a recording/photography studio... hopefully i'll make a few more polished recordings after that.

I think you're right, not the average although there is a pretty large group across the country doing some amazing things. Compared to some of the other folks, my yard is pretty simple. For anybody wanting to see more Halloween setups:
Outside of work and DPC I enjoy reading and traveling but my new hobby is reptiles. Both my roommate and I have rediscovered a love of cold-blooded creatures this year. They also make great photography subjects:
Right now I have three snakes and a crested gecko and Joe (the roomie) has 15snakes with three more expected next week.
Knitting is another hobby of mine - I've been knitting for 45 years, ever since I was 6 years old. Actually, I guess it is my main hobby with photography a close second.
Knitting is a solace to my soul, I've been doing it for so long that I know just how to make things turn out and everything I knit gives me a lot of satisfaction - sometimes my photography gives me SO much frustration because I just can't get what I want. I can see in my mind's eye what I want a picture to look like but I can't achieve it.
Luckily, with my knitting, if I can see it in my mind's eye, I can make it just that way. I love to collect knitting patterns, especially vintage ones - but, I usually make up my own patterns for the things I knit so I can get exactly what I envisioned.

I study Cheng Man Ching's 37-posture form. You've inspired me to upload a couple shots of me. (My tournament shots don't look as good as yours, unfortunately, so I decided to post these shots of me practicing in the garden at the tournament my school goes to every year.)

My son and his friends and I did the Pinewood Derby thing every year - I never won any of the races, but lots of trophies for creativity and design.

I did the pinewood derby two years in a row when I was in the cub scouts. I did my first car all on my own and it wouldnt' even make it to the end of the track. The second year, I asked my dad to help me out and he did. I won the individual pack's race, the city-wide race, and got third in the regionals with that car. The only tip I can offer you is that we used the powdered graphite to lubricate the inside hub of the wheels.
