I vote for Sher myself.. if anyone on this planet deserves a 300D.. it's her. (I think she deserves better, but she'd be the most ecstatic person on earth no matter what.)

Hehe, yeah, going to Nepal anytime soon? She has a nosering, speaks fluent Nepali (I forget the official language, maybe Hindi), and has opened a cafe in downtown Kathmandu, which she operates between forced all day curfews by the government and rioters, and keeps a day job teaching at the "american school". You can go cook with her.

Is this hat everybody is tossing into big enough for a canon tele-converter 2x ? What the heck, I have a Nikon and now matter how hard I hit the tele with the hammer it just doesn't seem to fit. So if it's wanted it's free for the taking.
I would like to ask for the 300D for myself and my business. I am just starting out and while I have a great camera with S9000 Fujifilm I am still limited on what I can do for certain jobs. I have been working on horse shows and family gatherings and in fact have one coming up very soon that I would love to be able to use the professional equipment for.
I am the stay-at-home mother of 3 wonderful children, we do rescue work with our local shelters, I donate a lot of my time and prints to various organizations and do fund raising also with my photography, giving something back to the community that has given me so much. My husband works very hard but money is super tight and I cannot afford that last leap to DSLR finacially but now feel I am ready as a photographer.
I would use my S9000 as a back up while letting my two daughters use it as well to futher their creativity and ambitions towards photography.
The past few month photography has been a great therapy for me and my family, giving us all something in common to work around and be a part of.

Annah's an amazing photographer, as yah all know, And it'd be amazing to see her get a camera a little more twards her skill level! She's had the Fugi forever, and I'm sure she'd love the upgrade! I know she probably wouldn't ask... so I'm throwing a couple words in her for her ;-)

I still think someone with a broken camera, that has 3 lenses laying around gathering dust, for almost a year, that hasnt been able to use them becuase his body cant get fixed due to cost, deserves a look at..

I really hope some one out there who really needs this gets it and makes some great art out of it, I own the 300D and love it.
I can't wait till my next camera upgrade but there is so much other equipment taht i need...

OK-- definitely cast my vote for Sher. :) I can't spare any of my camera gear, but I will throw in a woody and a rubber ducky. I don't know if she has any, but no DPCer should be without them.

I have a LowePro Orion Trekker camera bag that I no longer use that I can add so that the lucky recipient can safely carry the camera, a couple of lenses and a flash.
