I entered the first "Desolation" challenge and finished in a respectable 5th place with a fairy low score of only 6.529.

Back then I didn't know much and did not have any decent post processing software to speak of. Today I'd probably process and submit the same image something like the version on the right above.

The newer image would probably only score in the upper 5s now and place a lot lower. That would be a disappointment, so I decided to pass on the opportunity to try something similar this time. :)

Mwahahaha you've figured me out, JP. I put Lexi in a tiny space suit and photographed her on the moon..... those Hubble people are so nice!

Linda, you can have the red ribbon. We'll save brown for that Nikonian Yooper, JP :P

Care for a little Team Untouchable head to head there? I think mine will do really good or really bad. Probably not much in between.

I sat in a box and thought, then it started raining and I sat in a puddle while the box sort of melted. So I went for a walk and found a desolate place, oh, so very desolate, I cried and cried but nobody noticed because I was all wet from the rain already. Then I made the winning entry.
