Here are the cars I've owned (in order):
'72 Chevy Monte Carlo
'71 Ford F350 Pickup (body was held on with latex house paint)
My first brand new vehicle, an '85 Honda Nighthawk 650 (motorcycle)
My first brand new car, an '86 Chevy Monte Carlo SS
'91 Pontiac Firebird
'91 Suzuki Katana 750 (motorcycle)
'92 Chevy Cavalier Z24
'85 Pontiac Fiero
'95 Chevy S10 Extended Cab pickup
'92 Mitsubishi Eclipse
'92 Ford Explorer
'69 Chevy Pickup
2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Special Edition (only 2000 made)
'99 GMC Suburban
'86 Chevy Blazer
We currently still have the Suburban, the Blazer, and my favorite, my '69 pickup! I loved the Grand Prix, but had to give it up for the Suburban when our third child was born. Ethan is well worth the trade!
My favorite car of all time was my Monte Carlo SS and I would love to have one again!
Here is my dream ride I used to have but got rid of because i though I was going to get laid off from my job... I had her about 1 1/2 years.....she was the best car I have EVER owned, it was fast and handled like it was on rails
Smelly, I like your idea of listing them all so I'll do it to (cars and bikes):
'68 Yamaha something.
'72 Yamaha MX 100
'75 Yamaha MX 250 (first year for Mono-shock suspension)
'72 Ford Pinto (lol, but fast after I turbo-charged it)
'76 Pontiac Trans Am
'8? Toyota pickup
'86 Toyota 4x4 (my thrasher, I really abused this off road)
'8? Suzuki 550 GSE (or something like that, road bike)
'89 Suzuki GSXR 1100 (525lb., 135hp, do the math.. :) Fast.
'92 Chevy Blazer
'96 Geo Metro (don't ask :) Great mileage tho, and only $6000 out the door.
2001 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4. My gas-guzzling SUV. :)
Next? Another road bike... '03 Harley (probably a Dynasport), or possibly a "Standard" style Japanese rice rocket.... Yamaha FZ1000, or possibly the equivelent Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Honda. Most likely the Yamaha however.
I can still flirt at red lights in it, cuz it doesn't look too much like a "soccer mom" car. LOL
Hey GeneralE, Yeah, I just got back home a couple of hours ago, I think I should maybe look in to getting a faster camel for these long trips.
I’ve had the pleasure of cruising around in your car Paul, but I don’t think you’ve ever gone for a stroll in my car, have you?
I think we should take it down to the city and hang out at the red lights….. Maybe if we’re lucky, we might get KarenB to flirt with us ;-) What do you think, huh? Hey, It’s worth a try. A couple of "Wild and crazy guys"
The closest I've come to "cruising" was around 1972, when my friend Jim and I pulled into a diner in our matching early 60's Citroen ID-19s. He had a sedan, I had the wagon. Before we turned off the lights, we raised the suspensions all the way up, then let them down into "park" position simultaneously.
We drew some looks, but I don't think I'd consider any of them flirtatious...
i drive a loaded 1994 Dodge Intrepid, w/ 6cyl, 3.5 motor. it really scoots when i want it to! and i usually want it to!
my dream cars (vehicles) are: a black Harley Springer Softtail with baby ape hanger handlebars and long leather tassels. and this : a 1970 Plymouth Hemi-Cuda...wooohooo!!
of course, i wouldn't turn down that new Jaguar, either! or the up and coming Mazda RX8. used to have an RX7...jeez, what a sweet car that was!
Not the best shot of it... but I got myself a 2000 Mustang GT. Lots of tiny mods... throaty exhaust, not that ricer bumblebee can crap... pimped out rims... all fo' the ladies!
And what would I drive if money was no object? Hrmmmm....
