I too see a pretty phenomenal number of absolutely ridiculous talent in young kids here in Taiwan.
I met this 11 year old kid that has since moved to Vancouver that could play the Cello probably as well or better than that kid played his guitar. The peice that he played (15 minutes long) at a wedding was technical, but didn't include such complex fingering I must say, but still flawless technique.
I lost a couple of private English students who were 12 and 13. A couple of girls who played both violin and piano. I would teach one and the other one would practice violin or piano in the other room. I lost the class because it was too good and I kept getting distracted. They were both significantly better at the piano than the violin, but I'm a real sucker for Vivaldi.
The piano they played was breathtaking in skill and in complexity. The older one was working on Russian composers at the time because they had more technical songs.
The thing I find amusing though is that while both girls maintain higher than a 98% average in school, neither made the cut for the top music HIGH SCHOOL in Taipei.

It's become a pretty standard wedding march of late.
A canon is where two or more voices/intruments sing/play the same melody but begin at different times.
Like in grade school when one person begins singing row row row your boat and then the next child starts and on and on.
Watching this kid reminds me of when I was a young headbanger hanging out with my fellow guitar-playing friends. I remember one of my buddies popped in a VHS of the movie "Crossroads" and said "check out this dude Steve Vai". I was so blown away I practiced that dual forever but could never get it to the level of the movie. That kid has the technical skill to do that sort of thing (as evidenced in the video). Good for him--well done. On a side note, I'm going to see Joe Satriani with Eric Johnson on April 10th. Should be an amazing show (same place I saw Vai play almost exactly a year ago). I can't play like them, but I still love their stuff. Oh, and BTW, I was front row for TSO back in December--amazing! It was the third time I saw them, and I will probably go back again next year.
I hate to be a wet blanket, but does anyone else just think the kid's just acting like he's playing to the music? Where are the drums coming from? Why are there times where there are guitar sounds and he's not strumming or picking? It's a great piece of music, don't get me wrong. I just don't believe this kid is playing it. Color me skeptical.

I have to believe he is playing it, With a guitar we have what's called hammers and pulls where the guitar sounds when you hammer on or pull off the fingers of the left (fret) hand... combined with a good amp and a stomp box; hammers, pulls, and feedback and you don't need to even move your right hand. ie: that nifty riff in AC/DC thunderstruck is all played with the left hand...
He is also using what is called sweep picking (or is it the other way around) where you can fret a chord and just a slow up and down sweep across the strings will give you an outrageous riff.
Watching closely and listening the kid is playing it. Just happens to have a sound track (I do the same have a full on 48 track studio on my PC). Kid is good, reminds me of Gary Howie or as mentioned Satriani or Stevie Vai.
I felt like such a dumbnut because it sounds so familiar and I couldn't place it. I hate when that happens.

I may be mistaken, but I think it is "Canon in A Minor" By W.A. Mozart.
Actually the original piece is by Johan Pachabelle and it is Titled Canon in D it is very popular for weddings and other such occasions.
I am currently looking for an MP3 of Malmsteen's version, if anyone can help me out with that it'd rock sox. Thanks
