This is my third challenge, and I'm pretty pleased so far with this one. much better than the last two - it helps that i got photoshop! hey, i got a 10 and a favourite. it's all up from here - the more i do it, the better i'll get.
but, the quality of the images is amazing! pretty steep competition. the serious ones are stunning, and the less than serious have all made laugh aloud with their cleverness.
I'm not in this one so spent some time voting and commenting, how do these guys (and gals) comment on every challenge entry? I've spent what seems hours commenting on just 25% of them. some great shots and evidence of hard work from peeps. I bought 2 bottles of stella (well lots) for 'A street car named desire' but after drinking them I couldn't focus properly ;)
The funny thing is, I can recite literally hundreds of poems from memory, and yet I used the title of a novel for my entry... Go figure. I just fell into ti, so to speak.
I'll tell you what. I know I barely even read most of the titles. Probably wouldn't have known them from Adam anyway. I just voted the pics. I am sure many did the same, as it has been stated a few times that I know of that titles really aren't the biggest thing. Even if the challenge requires it, fact is, not everyone will know what title is what unless they have actually read it or know of it or have one of the greatest memories on earth. LOL....
There was one I read that did stick out. It was a quote I used many times in the past when in one of my professions. It was nice to see again, but other than that, I wouldn't worry about the titles. I truly believe the photos themselves will stand on their own. The title is just a little bonus which I seriously doubt many, if anyone, is researching out.
if clever = out of the box, you'll be hard pressed larry :(
don't worry, it's only been a couple days ;) things should pick up as the week goes along ;)
