My D70 is still running just shy of 10,000 shots, but I did manage to take 5,900 shots (not counting deletions in camera) on a 6 week vacation to the USA. From the 5,900 shots came a bunch of pano's and about 550 shots worthy of printing.
At first it seemed rediculous, but considering we visited so many famous locations ~15 prints a day seems totally reasonable. Of course there were days when the camera didn't even leave the hotel (like rides at theme parks) and other days when the photo's were just falling into my hands (like a personal zoo tour at Busch gardens).
Hmmm, I seem to be snowballing down a very steep hill. 2003, I shot about 8.000. 2004, I shot about 20.000. 2005 I shot about 50-55.000 and this year I have shot about 7.000 and it´s only february and I really am at my most productive phase during the summer :P
