I'll take one. Recently bought a knock-off wanna-be. It doesn't quite fit my 420ex - had to use velcro to make it stay on and results are just not what I'd hoped. Wasted $20.
Wow- I am impressed. I dont know why I have never heard of it before now! I have a mini soft-box as well as an Omnibounce. I don't care for either one of them.
Fro those who have just received theirs, are you getting the "clear" soft model? I know there is a cloudy soft model on the horizon (the one crabappl3 mentioned) but don't think it is supposed to be available publicly (i.e. via his website) until next month, so I've been waiting on that.
I am sure there are always new ones on the horizon, otherwise business gets stagnant. But just because it is new doesn't make it better....autos anyone? So, at least this version works.....

I live in norway and would like to buy a lightsphere. It costs $65 shipping and handling (on TOP off the lightsphere itself) on the gary fong website.. which is CRAZY.
So if someone is allready going to buy one and have it shipped to them in the states... Would you mind buying one for me, and sending it to norway (and thus costing me a LOT less than $65.00 for shipping) I can send you $$ via paypal to pay for the lightsphere.

There is only 3 on ebay. One is for the 580ex canon, and the other 2 are older versions (i think)
The newer ones are textured inside, so this one must be an older one. There is a brand new version called the Cloud that has just been released, and it is cloudy like this one, but it's also textured on the inside. That's the one that crabappl3 got and has shown some examples from in this thread.

This is the one I was referring to ... is it "generally available" yet? It is supposed to give better diffusion and warmer tones than the clear one.
Just ordered one, when I get it I will show some examples of my work with or without it. I am sure from what I have seen so far it is going to be great.
Yeah I just orderd mine. If we could have pooled our money I bet we could have got them for 25 a piece. But oh well instead its 50 a piece.
I cant wait to see how good it is.
