useless... according to tradition you can only have ONE shot before every meal... that means you have to be eating the whole day... better just to have beer.. that way you can choose the time you want to eat ;)

I'm not sure. Most of the rock festivals are in May/June, but there may be something around July, you'd have to do an internet search I guess. Just come anyway, I have a stereo :)
I was thinking I could shoot a music festival near you to earn some money and combine business with pleasure... I'll see if there are any on at that time.

I think it would be nice if everyone would stay at the same hotel, that way we could get a group discount, and we couldd help eachother when someone is too drunk :)

Not yet, because there is no definite date yet. Besides that, I have no problem with sleeping in a tent or under a bridge (depends on my state of mind, how much of it is clouded by alcohol).
When there is a bed and I can put my camera somewhere safe and it is in walking distance from the last pub: I am ok with it.
As long as the beds are separated I have no problem sharing a room either. Unless the other occupant is a hot young woman, in that case a single twoperson bed is ok too or maybe make it a single bed, yes, that would be 'gezellig'. Or when that so if maybe sure....

Great suggestion and I might look into this festival anyway as it does look worth considering. However, it's on at the beginning of June so doesn't tie up with this GTG.

Wow, what a response! We are really flattered to know that so many people are interested to come to our workshop!
Gary and I started this thread first to see what kind of reaction we get and find out if there will be anyone interested in making the GTG that way, that is why the date wasn't set yet.
The date of the workshop is depending on a few factors as organizing a bigger studio (which is owned by my boss and I need to find out the price and the date it is free for a whole day for our usage),
workshop presenters and our working times for that period.
We reckon it would take at least a week till we achieved the results and set the appropriate date. So we ask for some patience, the date will be announced on the 19th February.
We will also have to check on different hotel possibilities, and may be get a special offer from a hotel, where many of you can stay all at once.
Also a nice looking hot girl has to be organized for Azrifel :-) Az, send me your photo so we can show it around and ask the models if they are ready to share some room with you under a bridge :-P
