I missed 3 days in January, and got February off to a roaring start by missing yesterday, but I'm not too concerned about that. I'm doing it, and that's the main thing for me. So far, so good. It's not quite as hard as I expected, but with my erratic work schedule sometimes I fail to fit in time to shoot. Ah well, 11 more months to try harder! :)
Still going. February is month 4 for me and I haven't missed a shot yet. Some are bad, but they are all taken that day :) I apologize I haven't commented on anyone's pictures lately, I am barely keeping the PAD going. I'll get better again though, I promise.
I notice a few people who aren't on my links list (Rich-seal, Odetta). Acrotide is also not on the updated links list, although I added him to mine a while back. I will try to update the code with the new links and deleting some of the old in the next few days and make it available to anyone who wants it.

I cant do coding, but if you would try and help make a list I'd love to have a copy of it, rather then trying to edit that long list of names manually. And I agree if someone has thrown in the towel, please post here so we dont feel bad about removing your name from the list. Anyone who is doing one and your name isnt on the list please put up your PAD so we can hopefully add it.
Move mine to the Photo Every So Often list....things have been crazy here. You can move n8trchik to the same list. We're just unable to keep up right now.
I'm going to try a new thing. I originally started out using RSS feeds but for some reason, the photos didn't show up in Bloglines and I kept coming across them while I was at work and didn't want to comment.
So I've set up an account at Blogrolling.com. It's free. You can drag a little bookmarklet to your toolbar menu and click on it to add sites to your list. Then you can set it to update however you like - I'm setting mine so that the most recently updated is on the top.
Bonuses = not checking the people who aren't updating
adding someone to the list is much easier because it's just a matter of clicks...no updating the code.
I haven't finished entering the links yet but you can see an example of my start at the bottom of my links page. I'll remove the links at the top when I'm done adding them to blogrolling.
We started out with a lot people linking there photo-a-day project but now some of them don't work. If you have changed your link or dropped out of the project please post in this thread so I and others can update there links.

2006 Photo-a-Day
The basic concept is that I take a photo at 6pm (or within 2 minutes of) every single day, kinda like a documentary of what's going on, rather than the more arty photo style of last years PaD project.
I am still going - sometimes I am a day late in posting though. This weekend I will be camping in one of those little cabins (heated!) so it will be Monday probably before anything new... but still going!
I'm hanging in there and haven't missed a day yet. I must say I'm really impressed by how many people are still going strong. I applaud you all! Way to go!!
Also, thank you so much for the comments. Especially you, Chuck, who never seems to miss a day. I hope to get caught up again and return the favor(s) this weekend. Thanks everyone.
This is way more time consuming than I ever imagined. Some days it's really difficult to think of new subject matter. I hope it gets easier as the daylight increases.
