I knew this was a terrible photo when I took it but I think I just got so annoyed with myself and preoccupied with entering that I did anyways. I suppose at least now I'll be able to get lots of critique and improve for the next competition. Well at least it's a learning curve. Please super critique the beginner.

But judging by how many awesome pictures there are in this challenge, I wouldn't be surprised if that gets me middle of the pack on this one. That's okay tho. . .I'll take a 6.8 wherever it puts me. . .now if it will just hold or stay close :)

I'm so bummed with my score, the first time in over 2 years of challenges that I've turned my scores off. I know it's only the first day, but it's not anywhere near where I want it to be. :-(
On a good note though, I learned a helluva lot of new tricks while editing this one. But based on the score, maybe that wasn't such a good thing. :-)

I'm with you - I have one favorite and a score over 6 for the first time ever! At first I thought it was good, but then I read this thread. :-) This is going to be a delightful challenge to score - a great bunch of pics out there!!
(And sadly, this site has suddenly become viewable from work - this isn't a good thing. I can't look during the work day... was so much easier when it was blocked!)

Looking good! Now aren't you glad you entered this one? :-) And I'd have to say that middle of the pack in this one would be very good indeed. Based on the posts in this thread, and my own slowly (and sometimes not so slowly!) declining score, I may not make my goal of 50% range, but looks like the competition is rather stiff in this challenge!
Ok just like SandyP, I too had to get my glasses for this one. I just got back from my eye doctor as he checked if i had blurred vision. he said I was fine ;)

Haha, you picked the wrong challenge to do 4:1. I did that on Triptych and then got 39 comments. Ouch, I think I wound up calling "uncle" on that one.
