When (some) people are done voting they'll go back and start adjusting scores, usually (well, hopefully for the recipient) bumping the score up. Hopefully up. Please, up.

When time permits, I often go back and go over all my votes, or at least a section of them (e.g., all the 5's I gave) and re-evaluate. I often will bump a 5 up to a six in this second run. I almost never bump a score down from my initial impression.
Because I like looking at pictures I like, I often have to resist the temptation to only go back and look at images I voted 7 or above. It's very EASY to do this. Much more useful, however, is to go back to those "middlin" scores and re-assess, and COMMENT. This is something I'm trying to do with this challenge particularly, since there are so many entrants. Time is my enemy though. Here I am sitting at work. Should be working, but no, I'm writing a message. If I can't work, at least I could leave someone a comment, right? (and bump them up!)
So, I've LEARNED MY LESSON. Every time I open the screen, I'm excited to see my score has gone up toward the .5 direction. I click update, and without fail, it goes back down. So, having just opened the screen to find I'm at my .5 goal, I refuse to give the update button the time of day.
Thanks for all the comments, and the fav's are awesome! Keep'em coming! - I'm a little disappointed with the score, as the "comments/fav to score ratio" seems a little out of whack from what we have traditionally seen in the past, but given the competition in this challenge and my subject, I can totally understand and appreciate the score. Thanks!

Phew! Just finished 100% voting and only 3% for comments. Thank goodness, we still have a bit of time. I'm trying to make my comments count a little more especially for those I scored lower. Hope I don't upset anyone.
As for mine, well, I'll be lucky if it can finally replace one of those on my profile page.
