OH, I just chose one off the cuff. I am entering it beacause I like it. I think it is pretty cool. But I have only been photographing for about 3 months before 2005's end, so I didn't have a WIDE array to choose from. I just think its cute, and I am happy with it.
I wouldn't be surprised if it went close to 800 in the last submission rush near deadline.
It will be my third submission. I have a pic I like better in my portfolio, but this one has more human interest and I've not posted it to my portfolio.
It is really nice, but considering my past history, I'll be happy to make the top 600.
If it breaks a 5, I'll be happy.
If it breaks a 6, I'll be really happy.
If it breaks top 10, I'll probably be found in a straight jacket yelling "IT'S NOT REAL! WAKE UP!"
I STILL haven't submitted mine! Just can't decide. Should I go with one of my favorites, or the one I think will score best or some freakish combination - I shot thousands and thousands of shots last year......boggles...
I have to say I've waited a while before I submitted my entry. At the beginning I didn't even want to submit; whichone did I have to choose? But my eye kept going to one particular photo, so that's gonna be the one!

This is going to be like the good old days before the split challenges. There will be people passing out from voting on 600+ images. People devloping eyestrain, Tinosynovitus, PC rage...etc. There will be much nashing of teeth and only three winners....dosen't it make you glad to be alive?:))

I had two shots that I considered to be under serious contention for my "best of 2005." One was a shot that I personally loved and was so satisfied with how it looked, how it turned out, etc. The other was also a great shot that I personally didn't feel as strongly about, but everyone to whom I showed the two, said they thought the second one was better, and would score better.
Guess which one I submitted??

Still debating on which photo to enter. Last week I showed three people at work the 10 shots I was deciding between, their faves were most unexpected to say the least. Which goes to show that I'm out of touch with reality, out of whack with everyone else, and should just not enter anything.
But, there are two I've narrowed down to ... with a backup I'm-wishy-washy kicker thrown in for good measure.
I'll decide sometime today, enter it.
Change my mind tonight, resubmit.
Change my mind tomorrow morning, resubmit.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
I dislike immensely when Wishy and Washy come to visit, they are not welcome.

I am weller. I finally had a full night (and half a morning) of sleep! And the fever has broken (the saying of which reminds me of "Mooorning has brooooken ...". Now the sun shines outside and all is moderately well in the land of snow.
If Wishy and Washy are at your house then who are the two here?!?!? Must be the evil twins! Yeeeee---iiiikeees!
