At first, all I saw was a fuzzy book. Then after reading some comments, I went back and looked at what was left in focus. After slowly following the curve of the book jacket and the corner pages with my eyes, the image completely changed for me. I feel like running my thumb through the pages and touching the cover. The picture really brings out the texture of the cover. The depth of field is fascinating since it lets you concentrate on one tiny area of the picture while letting you know what the subject is. If this was only a macro of the corner of the book, I think it would leave the viewers wondering what they were looking at. I keep going back to look at it, it's an amazing photo. |
