all i can say is that you guys are SOOOOOOH lucky that my camera's broken right now (and won't be back for several weeks! ). i had kick-a#@ set-ups and ideas for the holiday catalog and candlelight challenges...they would have ribboned for sure!
...of course, don't ask me what COLOR they would have ribboned at!

did i mention that not having a working camera is driving me CRAZY?

I have knowingly taken my blue ribbon entry out of the challenge in order to give everyone else a chance; I feel this is the least that I can do. My new entry has nothing at all to do with yellow snow - a sure ribbon winner in any challenge.

I have just entered the most perfect, most flawless, most technically inspiring, most photogenically appealing, most amazing, most most photo for the Holiday Catalog challenge.
Were it possible, said photo would make Ivan the Terrible, Stalin, and Hitler change their ways and become good; famine would cease if the hungry gazed upon the photo; wars would end if fighting men could but glimpse the photo.
It is a vehicle for good.

Sorry "fresco, youre entry just suicided from the server when i uploaded mine. Its peon like existance would not handle the grandure of being placed side by side with my master piece only to be belittle and shamed by viewers and voters alike.
Oh puleeeze, the dog in a costume would be too easy, mine is much more aweeeee inspiring. I predict you all sell your cameras and take up pottery once you see it.

This is great! I entered for candlelight yesterday, and I'm about to enter for Holiday Catalog now. I think I'm going to do pretty well on both of them. As long as (or should I say when) I score higher then alfresco... I'll give myself a ribbon.
