I was thrilled to wake up to this. I thought mine was a good entry but wasn't sure how others would take it. I'm a happy camper this morning, and hope it keeps going this way but not holding my breath.
I submitted mine way too late (apparently at the midnight rollover), and it didn't get through in time. I was a bit disappointed last night. This morning, not quite as dissappointed given the scoring that everyone is seeing.
Well, I voted on all the entries. I have to say, this is my lowest voting challenge in a long time. Such a high percent of using the title to make the challenge to me. Some fun ones, but very low creativity this time. Probably mine too. Maybe next challenge will be better for most.

I think I jinxed mine by saying anything earlier. Although I got 2 more comments, mine has started sliding downhill.
I guess I can live with that. After 84 votes, I doubt my numbers are going to shift drastically in either direction. I hope that's the case, as I'd love to finish over 5 (my last entry, which was my very first challenge, finished at 4.794). Onward and upward!
Certainly far from my best score, but not bad considering I only submitted because I was suffering from severe update withdrawal with a last minute entry. Pretty much what I expected...
well, all the comments are done, so now it's time for me to fight the forces of trolldom and cast my votes. i don't understand why the votes are so low! unless, it's all those trolls who have eaten way to much turkey these last few days and want to share their gassy discomfort with the rest of us...
It's weird, in every challenge I've been in except one, the score begins really low, then jumps a couple points the next day. By the time it's done, it's gone up another half- to full-point. Typical DPC conspiracy theories adisde, I'm not quite sure what that means. My pride & ego wants to think it means the later people are taking their time to regard the photograph a bit more than their predecessors. Or that perhaps when viewers see my photograph among the first batch, they score low than having another photo to compare it to. Not really important, but as someone infatuated with numbers, it's interesting.

Yep, I agree tpoc. Oh well, it does stop me from hitting the "update" button so much.
Ok we just finished giving all our 1s and 2s. You may now return to your regularly scheduled program. An amazing array of fantastic images. Great job everyone. We were so pleased that we even gave a select few a 3!
