Rikki I found the best way to get the cat fur color right is to use natural lighting. If I take a picture of Neko inside with flash lighting his fur always looks brown. Took him outside and got this...
OK, this should be an interesting challenge ... here's two fairly recent ones which each finished very low, and yet each has been picked as a Favorite by someone ... : )
I thought that this would be a cool idea when I started this thread. It would be a good chance to learn a little. What I didn't expect was it be as fun as it has been.
I hope those that have joined in on the critiques have had as much fun. I know you joined in because all beat me to every single photo.
To those that submitted Thank You!!! I've learned alot and been exposed to so many really good photos I've never noticed before. Hopefully I've given useful critiques, and didn't just blow smoke at you.
I'd love keep this going for as long has I can keep up, so keep posting pics. If more of you want to join in critiqing the photos here, it's both fun and insightful. I'm sure the posters would appreciate all the helpful opinions they could get.

Thanks for uploading that. I was messing around with it for a bit and here's what I came up with:
I cloned out all of the people and a few other distractions, and then I sharpened, bumped up the contrast, desaturated, and added a slight blueish tint using color balance. Thoughts?
p.s. for future reference, it's generally not a good idea to shoot in b/w or sepia. Those conversions can be done so easily in post-processing and you'll also have the color version if you ever want it.
