But I have a favorite! Haha, I always end up doing that...I think it's because I usually take pictures outside the box, and people either love them or hate them. This one was WAAAAYYY outside the box, but I lvoe it to death. Oh well...I'm off to shut my scores off...
I just feel like I should remind people: 5 is not average on our scale, although it looks like it. The middle score between 1 and 10 is 5.5, so when you want to say that my photo is average, feel free to use either 5 or 6.
Well, I'm the newbie, and just voted in this contest. I tell you, I don't know HOW I am going to compete with all of you!!! LOL....The shots are FANTASTIC! I gave out 14 full tens! AND I am not your typical "give it a 10" person when I vote on photos. I also gave out about 20 nines! I wish everyone the best! I'm not in it, but I see I am going to learn a lot from all of you.
Oh, and sorry, but to leave 155 comments isn't something I have time to do. I prefer to leave comments on only a few, and didn't have time today for that. So this time it was just the votes I made sure I had time for. I will make more comments at the end!

I'm there with ya...I love taking abstract photos, and they usually don't get good marks. But it's the few that like the images that keep me entering them! Congrats on your favorite!
I might break 5 yet...haha. I had two people tell me mine was going to ribbon, lol. All 5 comments are positive...except one person doesn't see "How it fits the challenge." It's called shutter speed, and I obviously used a long one...*sigh*
Oh well, at least I can say I swim against the current....
I am stoked about my scores especially since my Transparency shot is at 4.9215 right now :) And the fact that this last minute shot (submitted at 8:58PST) is not bombing. Just goes to show that not all last minute shots are going to tank ;D
How high do you think the views will be on this image?
I kinda wonder if I'm being affected by my choice of shutter speed. I shot at 1/400 and it gave me the effect I wanted, but it's not extreme stop action or extreme blur...it is intregal to the shot though.
