mine went below the 5 mark yesterday, and today beyond 6! :) are you guys trying to gimme a heart attack? but right now went down again to average 5 zone... :(
5.1 and steady. And I don't want any more comments. I get it -- it doesn't count if your neck wasn't bent backwards when shooting. I wish the contest had actually been called "looking up" if that all that was wanted. :P

I have to admit that this was a pretty disappointing challenge for me. Not quite sure why it's scroing so low and mediochrely especially seeing the competition :(

argh, gone down to a 5.99, I was hoping the downward trend was temporary... :( I guess I can't complain about 11/12 positive comments and 3 fav's though. If the trend in previous challenges is true, I'll get about 50 more votes, maybe I can break 6 again. :-D
Going up pretty consistently now, to a 5.3 from a 5.0. Plus I got a favorite, and a few nice comments from people who "got" it. So I feel a lot better than I did earlier this week.
Can't say I didn't see it coming, but I was still a little surprised by the number of comments I got by people who didn't see "from ground up" in my photo. Oh well, you gotta just try and hope for the best sometimes.
Now I'm excited for Coffee Shop -- I think I truly have a good entry for that one. *rubs palms together in prepartion for update button* :P
I was surprised also at the results on this one. I am not disappointed in my placement(in fact I was thrilled) but I felt like there were many others that should have been ahead of mine. I am usually not so far off on my voting as I was on this one. Two of the top 10 I gave a lower score and then some of my top picks were in the 50's range. As with many of the challenges, it's how you interpret the challenge. That's what make this site fun and such a challenge. It's not only challenges you to take a good photo but also to interpret the wording of the description.
Eventhough I placed 88th, it's the usual .2 bump in the end that did it. It was a frustrating challenge for me as I thought my image, while of a building, was composed very well and exposed correctly. Except for the sensor dust that I had at the time, I thought I had a top 30 image in my hand.
However, my bent frustrations seem to wash away as I see three people added my image to their favorites list and with this comment from Ken.
