It's starting out O.K. for me, I am so thrilled. 9 comments already, and only one bad one. Did I mention that I'm thrilled. I will be happy if I just move up a little each week.
....if as you're walking out to your car, your work camera falls out of its backpack camera bag that's on your shoulder, onto the pavement, shatter the skylight filter, wedges the remaining filter frame tightly onto the camera, and knocks the focus completely out of alignment....

AHA! now that I''ve read through the "How do you vote photos that have nothing to do with the challenge, except for the title" thread, I want to go back a week and start all over
On the plus side -if the highest going rate for a complete flub is a 5, then I''m doing pretty well :)

Strike what I said earlier, about a good week, things are turning for the worse. Started out this morning with 6.4, now at 5.89. Life''s not fair. And yet, almost all wonderful comments with high scores....go figure.

Man, I give up. I have a fairly decent picture that meets the challenge without a title, and it's even in focus. Two comments and both talk about how I nailed the challenge. My score? 4.888.
I just wish I could pull my photo out of the running....first comment I received was how it didn''t meet the challenge (and I''m fairly sure that was a "copy and paste" comment. Not an incredibly low score yet...but it''s getting there. :)

Patella, I am so sorry about your camera! This seems like a long shot, but ask your Home/Renters insurance, they might cover it! This week is going to suck, period. (But I did it to myself)

I wish scores could be separated into 2 catagories. Quality of photo and meets challenge. This way I would know what to improve.If my photo is great that is of more importance to me than if I met the challenge.
