Had to laugh about Terry''s comment of just having a #49. Pretty soon we''ll talk in Addict Speak. In any case the comment of having a day off and not getting a thing done, applies to me.
I say that the person who will be making the last numerical comment here in this thread is the BIGGEST addict of us all and that is BIIIIIIIIG.

80. You barely know how to work your new camera, yet you must go buy all the lens and filters you can - even when you don't know what how or when to use them.

NO NO NO... Not a spot edit!
#79 You have a strong aversion to spot editing and work under the assumption that every photo you take must be submittable to a dpchallenge. (I haven''t reached this stage of addiction yet...I LOVE spot editing...maybe even more than Kermi)
later and not worth it''s own post...rofl...I just saw the words ''poopdrop'' and ''spot editing'' in the same sentence and I can''t stop giggling. I really need to get away from this place.

I must confess (again) - today I wanted to photo lighthouses at sunset.... my thought was "But, I'm supposed to be photographing corporate world... Uh oh. Come on, Karen! You are ALLOWED to use your camera for other things!!!" I think I'm past addicted - gone into obsessed.
82. You feel sad for your friend when he pulls out his disposable camera
83. You erase all of the programs off your computer at work except for Adobe Photoshop and Internet Explorer
84. You ignore National Geographic's offer to hire you because you're preoccupied with this week's challenge
85. You're macros are so close that you've dicovered a new species of dust mite
86. You live in California, but you can still take beautiful pictures of the White House from your front porch
87. You think your boss is a god when he shows you a photo that isn't made up of pixels
88. Your family discovers you sitting in front of the computer dressed up in a hawaiian shirt, drinking a margarita. They later find a picture of a beach set as the desktop background.
89. You sleep next to a printout of last weeks winner
90. You have two computers in your house: One for you, and the other for everyone else
91. You see something interesting while running errands, move your hand up to your face to take a photo, and are completely surprised that there is not a camera attached to the hand. (Yes, this happened to me today.)
92. You feel deeply disturbed and incomplete when you realize that you left your camera at home.
93. You begin to think the Borg might have had the right idea - you can't forget to bring your camera if it is grafted on to part of your body.
94. For once, you finish your submission before Sunday night - and you ask yourself what you are supposed to do for the rest of the week.

93) Instead of days/weeks/years, you refer to challenges: How long has then been in the refrigerator? Since the texture challenge. When was the last time you called your great Aunt Hortense? At the beginning of the curves challenge. When was your oil changed last? Right after On the Road.
94) You figure out a picture for this week''s challenge because in your dreams you were experimenting with different things.
(This thread may never die!)

I've actually hand-set metal type -- when "leading" referred to the piece of lead you inserted between the rows of letters. By now I'm somewhat of a compulsive proofreader. I have a (disorganized) collection of "typos" which spell-checkers cannot catch...submissions are welcome.

Maybe Kluge, Heidelberg, and Linotype have meaning to you then?
