Thanks for the words of encouragement DPCers. As waht I said in my previous reply, these two pics are all DPC pics. Without DPC, I may not have thought of taking them along that "mood" and "mode".
congrats Manny... i have had two photos published in an Australian magazine... i know how you feel... it puts you on a high for so long.. so stay up there, you deserve that big smile on your face....
So all those early pictures that you've sent me three-four years ago may be worth a lot, eh?

Technically this is the second publication, because he's in August's issue too! That was off the shelves by the time I looked unfortunately.

Actually, it is quite unbelievable to have a magazine published my pictures that they just saw at pbase. They sent me an email twice to request for a bigger format of these pictures because i ignored their first email ) Well I am glad they did send a follow up. Though I have yet to receive the payment and their complimentray copies, I am overwhelmed by this. Maybe because this is my first time (to be published in a mag with wide distribution)?
But I have to emhasize that both these shots WERE FIRST FEATURED HERE IN DPCHALLENGE as challenge entries. Could it be that they are visiting dpchallenge too? ANYWAYS, I have to thank dpchallenge for motivating me to come up with such pictures. The challenge themes allow me to stretch my style of photography to cover as much ground.
And for those who have access to this magazine (both August and September issues), I would be glad if you can send to me the said issues. I would like to have as much copies as possible...also for my models. As a tradeoff, I can send to you two 6 X 8 copies of any picture I have in portfolio (my apologies for being too presumptuous but this is the best that I can do from my end).

I revisited my other shots of Krystal from the same day that I took one of the published photos. I had quite a lot of good poses then. I chose this one to post-process. I like the result (more than the other one) so I am posting it here at dpc. Notice how she changed expressions in the two pics. It is dificult to find somebody like her (now that she's out of our school.)
I'm a bit late to this thread, but I've literally just a minute ago opened up my copy of this magazine to see an very familiar couple of photos staring right back at me! Congrats librodo, these shots look great in print!
I just saw read this magazine today and when I turned to the page before I even read the text I thought to myself (I was on a plane) "Holy Crap! Those are Librodo's pictures!" I was really happy for him. I was also gonna start a thread about it but I guess I'm about a month late :P and this is the only time when I'm allowed to be a month late ;) Congratulations, you really do rock!
