My wife is starting a business. She's making pretty purses. She wants the business to be called "The Blushing Maple" (she likes English pub names, like 'the waltzing weasel') but she's worried it sounds awkward (say "The Blushing Maple" out loud to see what she means).
So she thought that perhaps just "Blushing Maple" was better, but then she loses the image it evokes of a single Maple tree in a field turning bright red in fall.
So...think about it, say it out loud...ask around...what's your vote?
wether u have THE before it or not it will still be called that by the patrons/customers who recommend the shop to thier friends. i say leave THE in it!!
