Personally I totally ignore the frames and borders on pictures. Unfortunately, it would appear that about half the ribbon winners have a border of some type. To be honest I wish dpchallenge would NOT allow them in the challenges at all. Let's make the images stand up on their own and not with the support or enhancement of a border.

Border smorder... At least I will never use a border again, the only shot I put a border on was my worst score ever here on DPC by almost 1 whole point! No borders for me again, ever!!! :)

I guess I got spoiled with the Granular challenge. Maybe it's just my shot and it not giving cause to comment??

Not a lot of comments.. 12... but the score's decent. Not spectacular, but decent. Better than I expected to get; there are some really fantastic shots in this challenge that make mine look super yucky in comparison :)
Not doing as well as I hoped, only 5.07 but I liked the shot. Someone even gave me a favorites. So that makes it worth it. Really surprising thing is 170 votes and 0 comments.

No that is not possible, you are suggesting the impossible and there is no way in hell I can take a shot that bad, the border is at fault.
